   I am so excited to have the privilege of teaching your 5th grader Science this year!  I am in my 19th year of teaching, and my 13th year at Elkhart Intermediate.

   Elkhart has always been my home. I attended Elkhart ISD for my entire grade school career, and was a member of the Class of 2000 here at Elkhart High School!

   I hope that your child comes home excited about learning! If we keep a positive attitude and remember to treat each other with kindness and respect, I don't see any reason we can't have a fantastic year!!
