My husband, David and I moved to Elkhart in 2014 after living out of state for 13 years.  This native Texan was happy to be back home!  I grew up in a small community in west Texas, the daughter of a cotton farmer.  Family gatherings, church and school activities and helping with cotton and wheat harvest comprised this time of my life.

In my spare time I love to crochet and continue researching our family history.  After helping my husband and children through college and graduate school, I went back to college and completed my college degree, 33 years after receiving my Associate Degree, you are never too old to learn!  I have worked in large and small school districts, with large and small schools, it’s great to be in a “just-right size” school district working with excellent teachers and administrators.  Go Elks!
