I moved to the Elkhart community in 1978 as a 7th grade student and finished my high school career in 1983 as an Elkhart graduate. My wife, Tana and I have two children that attended Elkhart I.S.D. schools from Kindergarten until graduation, and now we have 5 grandchildren who are current enrolled at Elkhart ISD and one grandchild who has graduated from Elkhart ISD.  Needless to say, I think Elkhart I.S.D. is a “proven product.” I have served in the district as a bus driver, teacher, assistant principal, and principal with an opportunity to work on all four campuses during my employment. Tana and I attend church at Evangelistic Temple in Palestine. When we are not at school, we enjoy fishing, camping, and traveling. It has been my privilege to work with a great group of educators at Elkhart, whom I consider my family.
