I moved to the Elkhart community in 1978 as a 7th grade student and finished my high school career in 1983 as an Elkhart graduate. My wife, Tana and I have two children that attended Elkhart I.S.D. schools from Kindergarten until graduation, and now we have five grandchildren who are current enrolled at Elkhart ISD. Needless to say, I think Elkhart I.S.D. is a “proven product.” I have served in the district as a bus driver, teacher, assistant principal, and principal with an opportunity to work on all four campuses during my employment. Tana and I attend Southside Baptist Church in Palestine where we have been members for many years. When we are not at school, we enjoy fishing, camping, and traveling. It has been my privilege to work with a great group of educators at Elkhart, whom I consider family.
